THE AURORA AND THE STARS

On a visit to Abisko, one of the northernmost villages in Sweden, you hope to see the Aurora. But if the dancing lights fail to appear, the dark sky and it's billions of stars will not disappoint. That or the large, empty mountainous landscapes, straight from a fantasy novel. Since then, I've moved to a region north enough to get some occasional amazing light shows. Here's a small collection.
